Four of Autumn

A bee, on a Golden Penda.

The bee works, morning, noon and night. Collecting. Gathering.
Taking her pollen home. Taking her nectar home. Storing it. Keeping it. Making provision for when there is no nectar to be collected.
The bees make honey out of nectar. The stored honey, and the pollen feeds them all, all year, because they were thrifty, filling up their honey combs in summer, to keep them through the winter.
Thrifty little bees.
